Advisory Services for Citizens

People living in the Euregio Rhine-Waal are increasingly encountering problems concerning their roles as consumers and border commuters, or when simply seeking information. These problems often are the result of European legislation.

Especially border commuters have to confront differences in welfare laws and encounter problems concerning taxation. The Euregio Rhine-Waal organises monthly consultation hours for border commuters with the Bureau voor Duitse Zaken, the Dutch and German tax offices, as well as the social insurance agencies.

As part of Eures (European Employment Services), the Euregio Rhine-Waal offers citizens an advisory network and information free of charge to make the job market transparent.
Citizens can get the latest information concerning cross-border and European themes in the office of  the Euregio Rhine-Waal. Booklets are also available.
